DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATION:

December 28, 2019

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED, YOUR ORGANIZATION SHOULD:

  • be a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code;

  • offer an arts or science program under consideration free of charge to talented students from across New York City’s diverse populations and neighborhoods; and

  • not have received prior funding from The Lotos Foundation for the last three years in a row. A two-year hiatus is required if three consecutive years of funding has been received.

YOUR PROGRAM SHOULD:

Identify and nurture talented students in one of these fields: dance, film, music, theater, visual arts (painting, photography, sculpture, mixed-media, video), writing (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, playwriting, journalism, criticism), or the life or physical sciences. Please note that Louis Padovano Grants are not intended for programs which make use of the arts to provide therapeutic assistance or to further some other set of educational objectives.

  • Program Budget (including other sources of funding)

  • Organization Budget

  • List of the Board of Directors, showing professional affiliations

  • Most recent audited financial statement for the organization

  • First page of your IRS Form 990
