Application Submissions begin September 1, 2023
and must be received by December 16, 2023.
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED, YOUR ORGANIZATION SHOULD:
be a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code;
offer an arts or science program under consideration free of charge to talented students from across New York City’s diverse populations and neighborhoods; and
not have received prior funding from The Lotos Foundation for the last three years in a row. A two-year hiatus is required if three consecutive years of funding has been received.
YOUR PROGRAM SHOULD:
Identify and nurture talented students in one of these fields: dance, film, music, theater, visual arts (painting, photography, sculpture, mixed-media, video), writing (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, playwriting, journalism, criticism), or the life or physical sciences. Please note that Louis Padovano Grants are not intended for programs which make use of the arts to provide therapeutic assistance.
